Motions passed at the 10/08/07 Executive Board Meeting

Ø      Approved the Local 7800 FY2008 budget as proposed.

Ø      Approved spending up to $53,000 from the Reserve Fund for the proposed itemized Qwest bargaining related expenses.

Ø      Local 7800 approved to send Mark Markley’s retirement gift to his son Steven and daughter Sara Markley.

Ø      Approved the appointment of Joshua Cain as a Steward for CWA 7800.

Ø      Approved the appointment of Donna Carter as a Steward for CWA 7800.

Ø      Approved the appointments of Brian Lynch and Kathy Carroll as Stewards for CWA.

Ø       Approved the appointment of Michael Lynch as Chair of the Strike Prep Committee. Approved the appointment of the following: Candi Thiesen, Amber Holland, Sharon Goff and Martin Knapp to the CWA Strike Prep Committee; Vila Lind, Pat Blake and Donna Carter to the Community Services Committee; Jason Michelinie to the Women’s Committee and Maria Swycaffer to the Equity Committee.

Ø      Local 7800 approved to pay Joan Huey her AVP allowance for September 2007.
