Motions passed at the 11/06/07 Executive Board Meeting

Ø      Approved the Equity Committee’s breakdown of their FY2008 travel budget as follows: $2,000 to attend the 2008 CBTU Convention in St. Louis, MO; $2,000 to attend the 2008 APRI Conference in Jacksonville, FL; $2,000 to attend the 2008 National Minority Caucus in Las Vegas, NV; $2,000 to attend the 2008 National Committee on Equity in Detroit, MI; $2,000 to attend the 2008 Pride at Work Conference (TBD).

Ø      Approved up to $10,000.00 for LTW’s and mailings for the Strike Prep Committee.

Ø      Approved the appointment of Terry Mitchell, Craig Dameron, Linda Rieland and Steve Tariske to the Strike Prep Committee; and Martin Knapp to the Community Services Committee.

Motions Passed at the 11/13/07 Membership Meeting

Ø      Approved the actions (NB1.-NB.3) taken at the 11/06/07 Executive Board Meeting. 

Ø      Approved to give the Local’s secretary, Cathy Sterbens, a $300 holiday bonus.
