- This committee helps develop programs to involve the union in the community
and join in coalitions with other organizations in support of worthwhile
causes.

"Jobs With Justice" is one example of a successful coalition in
which our Local is involved. Local Community Services Committees are also
involved in programs to assist the less fortunate such as United Way,
Special Olympics, blood drives and many other worthwhile community efforts.
In addition, the Community Services Committee plays a vital role during a
strike.
